5 Tips for a Colorful Easter

You can learn more about that below, but first, I’d like to share five tips to help your family have a more colorful Easter holiday.

  1. Create more permanent Easter eggs by decorating egg shapes cut from cardboard or thick paper. Your family can decorate them with crayons, markers, paint, or even glitter.
  2. Make Easter cards for community helpers like first responders, crossing guards, teachers, and even the mailman. This is a positive way to teach children about the people in their community while brightening someone’s day. Everyone wins!
  3. Instead of putting candy in plastic eggs, put clues for an Easter-themed scavenger hunt that leads your family a special treat from the Easter Bunny, like a new coloring book and crayons.
  4. Another idea for plastic eggs is to include pieces of a child-sized puzzle. Once all the eggs are collected, your family can work to complete the puzzle together. This is especially fun if the puzzle has a bunny or something else your family will like.
  5. Start a new tradition by playing a fun game like Easter Memory Match. See image below
